Then there's Holly Hobbie - she was one of my favorite dolls. I had a Holly Hobbie bedspread, curtains, blanket, pillow case, dolls and a latch-hook rug kit. Yeah, I loved me some Holly Hobbie.
Almost forgot my lunchbox.
I had Barbies, but I loved my Sunshine Family. This is Steve, Stephanie and Sweets Sunshine. Alliteratively (but not very cleverly) named.
One year, I even got the Sunshine Family Craft Store. Check out the spinning wheel and the pottery wheel. It should be no surprise that my mom got this for me.
I'm also nostalgic about some movies from my adolescence. These are some of my faves.

I rewatched The Breakfast Club recently. You know, it holds up very well. Didn't seem too dated. It also didn't seem as deep and meaningful as it did when I was 16, but oh well...
Ok, that Sunshine Family Craft Store is way cooler than the Barbie camper... although I might not have thought so at age 8.
I've seen those movies recently. Bug loves Labyrinth.
I had the Sunshine family and their house:) And the Barbie camper...but I always wanted her townhouse:)
@ Margaret - I haven't watched The Breakfast Club in ages. Maybe I'll rent it and 16 Candles next time Matt's on a business trip and force the boys to watch them with me.
@ Chris - I remember being annoyed because the craft store didn't come with sheep. I wanted Stephanie Sunshine to be able to knit sweaters.
@ Simone - Bug has excellent taste!
@ Molly - You're the only other person I know who had the Sunshine Family!!!
Bron, you can borrow my copy of 16 Candles and dude! you totally know I had the Sunshine Family. Remember the ebay reminisce-a-thon?
@ Brynn - OMG!!! I'd forgotten about that!!! That was the day we spent all day on ebay! :D
I will totally take you up on 16 Candles!!!
